... 2010 Aurealis Award, and more recently 'Family Forest', authored by Kim Kane, was shortlisted for the CBCA (Children's Book Council of Australia) Book of the Year 2011. Using mixed media and textures to give a tactile element to her work, Lucia likes to create whimsical characters who inhabit colorful, remarkable worlds.
